THE INFORMATION WE COLLECTThis notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the camporee.org website. The types of personal information collected are: Name Address Email Address Phone Number Pathfinder Club Name Password (when creating an account) Credit/Debit Card InformationIn order to purchase Camporee tickets online, one must use their credit/debit card information to finalize the purchase. Credit/Debit card information is collected through the Andrews University payment gateway. Credit/Debit card information is only collected once by Andrews University and is never stored on any database of either the Andrews University or the camporee.org websites.
NON-REFUNDABLE CAMPOREE TICKETSPurchases made for Camporee tickets are non-refundable. Therefore, please verify that you will be able to attend the Camporee and that you are purchasing the correct amount of tickets.
INTERNATIONAL CAMPOREE REGISTRATIONFor the first time, we are offering online registration for our international Camporee audience. Registration for Internationals is similar to North-American member registration in that:1. Camporee tickets are non-refundable. Please be advised that we are not responsible for your ability to attain invitation letters, correct documentation, visas, etc. to travel to the U.S.A.
Registration for Internationals is different to North-American member registration in that:- International Registration is only available to select international countries due to security reasons and possible endangerment to people residing in countries with certain hostilities to the U.S.A. Please see the allowed country list to determine whether you are eligible for international registration.
- International members registered for the Camporee will not be able to update their personal information online once the member account has been created. If you wish to change your personal information, please contact us directly.
- The International Pathfinder Camporee will accept the first 2,000 International member applications.
THE WAY WE USE INFORMATIONWe share the information you provide about yourself when placing an order, except for your password and financial data, with our corporate sponsors, as well as any other organizations that are deemed related to the Pathfinder Camporee.We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
MAINTENANCE OF INFORMATIONThe information provided to Camporee is saved indefinitely and may be stored on one or more databases directly or indirectly maintained by Camporee. Camporee employs industry-standard security measures to protect the confidentiality of the information. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur; we make every effort to prevent such occurrences.
HOW YOU CAN ACCESS OR CORRECT YOUR INFORMATIONNorth-American members can access all their personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by returning to and logging into their member account at camporee.org. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.You can also correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
USE OF MEDIAWe would like to take photograph(s)/ make a video recording of this Camporee, in part to help us with promotion for future Camporees. These images may appear in our printed publications, on our website, or both. By accepting these terms you give permission for your image to be used in our printed or web publications.
LEGAL DISCLAIMERThough we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law, if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary and required to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, subpoena or other legal process served on Camporee.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITYYou are responsible for the security of your Customer ID and passwords. Make sure you keep them in a safe place and do not share them with others. Always remember to log out after your session ends to ensure that others cannot access your private personal information. You should take this precaution when you are using a public computer, such as at a library or internet cafe, and when you are using your private computer in your home.
