RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS BY PURCHASING A TICKET TO BELIEVE THE PROMISE INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER CAMPOREE (“Camporee”)

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS BY PURCHASING A TICKET TO BELIEVE THE PROMISE INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER CAMPOREE (“Camporee”).

I, “the Participant”, UNDERSTAND THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE Believe the Promise International Pathfinder Camporee and the Center for Youth Evangelism, Inc. (CYE) including its affiliates (collectively, “the Releasees”).  Believe the Promise International Pathfinder Camporee is a Pathfinder Camporee to be held August 5-11, 2024, in Gillette, Wyoming and is organized by the Releasees’ members, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and independent contractors (collectively, “the Organizers”). In consideration of the Organizers permitting the Participant’s attendance at the Camporee, the Participant waives any and all claims that the Participant has or may in the future have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue, Believe the Promise International Pathfinder Camporee, CYE and its affiliates, the Organizers, and the owners of the associated property (“Premises”) at which the Camporee will be held in Gillette, Wyoming, as well as other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, or advertisers, for any claims of personal injury, illness, death, property damage or other loss that the Participant sustains during or as a result of Believe the Promise International Pathfinder Camporee due to any cause whatsoever. The Participant is aware that participating/volunteering in the Camporee has many inherent risks.

-I recognize and acknowledge that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Camporee attendees and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. I freely and voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of death, bodily injury or property damage or loss, regardless of severity, that I (or my child/ward) may sustain because of my attendance at the Camporee, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

-I indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur while I am at the Camporee or on the Premises, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

-I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Releasees from all liability to myself, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin, for any claims, causes of action, obligations, lawsuits, charges, complaints, controversies, damages, costs or expenses of whatsoever kind, nature, or description, whether direct or indirect, in law or in equity, in contract or in tort, or otherwise, whether known or unknown, arising out of or connected with my (or my child’s/ward’s) attendance at the Camporee or while on the Premises, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

-I grant CYE permission to use for any lawful purpose any photograph, or video or audio recording of me/my child taken on the Premises or at Camporee activities. I agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Wyoming and that this Release is governed by and will be interpreted according to the laws of the State of Wyoming. I understand that should any part of this Release be ruled invalid by a court, the other parts will remain valid and continue to be in effect.
