The International Pathfinder Camporee requires the movement of thousands of people throughout the day. We provide on-site and off-site shuttles to get you where you need to be in a timely manner.

Grand Central Bus Station Information

Community Service, Off-site Activities, and Shopping Bus Information

  1. Find the Gate number for your desired Off-site Activity, using the Grand Central Bus Gate list. Then, look at the Grand Central Bus Station Layout Map to find the Gate number location. There is a waiting area for each group and each offsite event. Follow the signs to your waiting area.
  2. For free Off-site Activities, your group must stay together with no more than 10 pathfinders with each adult sponsor.
  3. NO pathfinders under the age of 13 will be allowed to board a Teens plus NO Exceptions. This includes the young children of sponsors.
  4. The adult sponsor should lead the pathfinders to the wristband check area. No pathfinders will be allowed into line without a sponsor.
  5. Move up and fill all of the gaps in the waiting line. NO saving places in line for friends coming later.
  6. At the bus loading area, a Staff Member will build groups of 50 people in preparation for loading the buses.
  7. 10 buses will be loaded simultaneously. When the buses are in place, a Staff Member will release one group of passengers for each bus. Once you are released to load, PLEASE MOVE all the way to the BACK of the bus and fill EVERY SEAT from the back to the front.  EVERY seat must be used. If there are a few extra people, please put three small children together until everyone is seated.
  8. The order of loading will be controlled with first priority going to Timed Events that have been purchased in advance. Once the paid passengers have been loaded, the other loads will be moved in the order that they arrived at the bus stop. We will NOT WAIT for anyone once a group is released to load.  IF someone leaves the group for a restroom break or … they will NOT be allowed to board once boarding is complete. Please use the restroom before getting into line!
  9. All 10 buses will depart in order. If there is a slow bus ahead of you, your bus will need to wait until the slow bus finishes loading.
  10. You will only be dropped off at the designated bus stop. The reload area will be clearly marked near where you were dropped off.  You can only reboard a bus at a designated return bus stop.

When you are brought back to Cam-Plex you will be dropped off outside the Southwestern Union Gate on Boxelder Road. Multiple buses will be unloading simultaneously.  Please remain seated until your bus comes to a stop and the door is opened. Once the door is opened, please collect all your belongings and exit as quickly as possible. Move away from the bus so everyone can exit behind you.  If you leave something on the bus, it will be collected and taken to the Lost and Found.  For your safety, PLEASE do not attempt to return to a bus once you have exited.


Off-site Activities Buses

Off-site Activities Buses

Off-site Activities Buses will take you from the Camporee grounds to various Off-site Activities around the Gillette area and back to the Camporee grounds. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes.

The Off-site Activities buses will operate on the following schedule:

  • Tuesday from 12:00 PM noon – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Off-site Shopping Bus

Off-site Shopping Bus

The Off-site Shopping bus will take you to Walmart & Smith’s grocery store and back to the Camporee grounds. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes.

The Off-site Shopping bus will operate on the following schedule:

  • Tuesday from 12:00 PM noon – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • If you are using the Camporee Shopping Shuttle buses, to pick-up your groceries, your groceries may only take up the seat you are occupying.
  • If you are picking up a large quantity of groceries, you will need to take your own vehicle to transport them back to the Camporee.

On-site Shuttle Bus

On-site Shuttle Bus

  1. There will be an On-site Shuttle bus running between the Southern Union Gates on Fox Park Ave. and the Wyoming Center Parking Lot.
  2. The On-site Shuttle bus will run continuously on a first come first serve basis.
  3. The On-site Shuttle bus will not pick up or drop off at any other location.
  4. The On-site Shuttle bus will operate on the following schedule:
    • Tuesday – 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Wednesday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  5. Space will be limited; walking may be faster.

Physical Disabilities Shuttle Bus

Physical Disabilities Shuttle Bus Information

  1. There will be a Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus available for those in wheelchairs. The Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus will run between the Southern Union Gates on Fox Park Ave and the Wyoming Center Parking Lot and approved Off-site locations.
  2. If a physically disabled person needs to be transported to an Off-site activity, please call (732) 508-8063, to arrange a pickup and drop-off location.
  3. The Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus will be used as a second On-site Shuttle bus when not in service as a Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus.
  4. The Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus service will only be provided for a physically disabled person and one companion passenger. All other passengers will need to wait in the On-site Shuttle Bus lines.
  5. Clubs are responsible for working with their Conference Youth/Pathfinder Director to provide golf cart transportation to and from the Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus stops.
  6. Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus will operate on the following schedule:
    • Tuesday – 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Wednesday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  7. Physical Disabilities Shuttle bus service will be offered on a first call, first serve basis. Please be considerate of those who really need this service.
These buses are provided for physically disabled persons only, who need a wheelchair accessable bus, along with one attendant to assist them. NO one else will be able to board these buses.

Airport Shuttle Service

Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport (Gillette, WY) Shuttle Service

Campbell County School District is offering a paid service to shuttle people who are flying in and back out of the Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport, in Gillette, WY.

Registration Information
  • These registrations must be prepayed and scheduled prior to Friday July 12, 2024.
  • Once you have prepaid for a shuttle ride, you may conctact Melissa or Jerry with any adjustments to time, due to flight delays or distruptions.
  • Call after booking, 307-682-4179 and ask for Melissa or Jerry, if you have additional questions.
  • For groups paying for smaller than full bus loads, you will be grouped together with other groups to ensure we are running full buses on these shuttles.  If you want to have a bus to yourselves, you will need to purchase the full bus option on the reservation form.
  • From the airport – Shuttles will pick you up in front of the Airport and drop you off at the Wyoming Center Onsite Shuttle Bus Stop.
  • From the Camporee – Shuttles will pick you up at the Wyoming Center Onsite Shuttle Bus Stop and drop you off in front of the Airport.
