Dino Dig Experience
Approximately 2 hours from Gillette, Southwestern Adventist University has a dig site where you can see what has been discovered, search through a dig pile for fossils and learn a bit about paleontology. There is no cost, but you will need to provide your own transportation.
What to bring: Bring lots of water, chapstick, a hat and sunscreen as there is very little protection from the hot direct sun.
