Games will be played on a KNOCK-OUT basis with the winners advancing and losing teams being eliminated. There will also be an International Pathfinder World Cup on Friday, August 9th.

Each coach, director, team captain or a designee must attend a Zoom meeting scheduled for July 7, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, to draw a number to determine when and against whom their team will play. The Zoom link will be sent to coaches of all registered teams.

All players are expected to be familiar with the rules of the game and to practice good Christian sportsmanship. The team should bring a folder with the signed copy of the Coach and Players Code of Conduct and each player’s completed Parental Consent Form to the games.

Rules of the Game

  1. The Field of Play – The field of play is the surface on which the game of soccer is played on. This law regulates everything regarding line markings; the dimensions of the soccer field that will be used will be half the size of a regular full field.  The dimensions of the goal post are also adjusted according to the size of the field (the goal post is 48” high X 72” wide).
  2. The Number of Players – a team can have 7 players and a goalkeeper on the field and 3 on the bench (total = 10 players). If girls will be playing, have at least 2 girls on your team.
  3. The Player’s Equipment – Each team will wear a type B jersey or a uniform of their choice. Each player would then wear a shirt or jersey, shoes with rubber soles, shin pads (optional), shorts and socks. No spikes except rubber spikes. Bibs will be provided if both teams have similar uniforms.
  4. Referee – There will be one referee for each game, assisted by two coaches who will act as linesmen. The referee is the sole decision maker.
  5. The Duration of Matches – Standard matches are limited to 15 minutes per half, even when the ball is out of play, during substitutions, etc.

Every match must have a winner.  In the event of a tie, sudden death will be used to determine the winner, with each team taking 3 penalty kicks.

Each team will have 10 minutes to field a minimum of 5 players based on the scheduled game time.  However, if the team is not present after 15 minutes, the match will be forfeited.
